At Village Animal Clinic we are continually striving to provide better service to our clients and patients. We have listened to your concerns about after-hours emergency care and have made arrangements with the Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital, MedVet and Capital Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center that should one of our patients be admitted to their hospital, you can request that we be contacted if you require help in making a decision regarding a treatment plan for your pet.
Additionally, we have instituted a new phone system for after-hours, non-life threatening urgent inquiries. The system will notify us if you leave a voicemail message. If you are the owner of a current patient, we will contact you within 1 hour of your message to discuss your pet’s medical need. Because we cannot make a diagnosis over the phone, and because we are not equipped to handle life-threatening after hours emergencies, please leave a message only regarding current patient care, or for non-life threatening urgent questions.
We also recommend utilizing the electronic message delivery system by sending an email to our technician at jo@villageanimalclinicllc.com. These e-mails are checked regularly, even during closed business hours.*
*Please Note: If you leave an after-hours message regarding a pet that is not a current Village Animal Clinic patient, your message may not be returned until the next business day.
